The Royal Conservatory Certificate Program

All private students participate in the Royal Conservatory Certificate Program. The Royal Conservatory Certificate Program provides a recognized national standard of success through an effectively sequenced course of study from beginner to advanced levels. Practical (performance) and Theory assessments are conducted either online or at Weber State University.

Practical: Assessments evaluate the performance of repertoire, etudes, technical tests, aural skills, and sight reading.

Theory: Examinations evaluate the understanding of the building blocks of music, from the basics of notation at the Elementary levels to the structural harmonic analysis at the Advanced levels.

The study of these subjects plays an essential role in developing musicianship and performance skills. The Royal Conservatory Music Development Program allows students to measure and celebrate accomplishment and track their progress across the country.
